The Cape Verdean fabric is called pánu di téra. It is very sturdy, woven with passion and care by the few weavers remaining in the archipelago. Indeed, hand weaving is disappearing in the country, which is a great shame given the high quality and originality of this fabric.
In our own small way, we encourage the weavers to keep this art alive.
Given the rarity of the fabric, we have used it sparingly.
This collection is a limited edition, and some pieces are unique.
