The Cape Verdean fabric is called pánu di téra. It is very durable, woven with passion and care by the few weavers who remain in the archipelago. In fact, hand weaving is disappearing in the country, which is a real shame given the fabric’s excellent quality and originality.
In our own small way, we encourage the weavers to keep this art alive.
Because the fabric is so rare, we have used it sparingly.
This collection is a limited edition, and some pieces are one of a kind.
