A l’origine, la coiffe Aka encore appelé juju hat est un chapeau en plumes, porté privilégiement par les chefs, les officiers de haut rang ainsi que les danseurs lors de certaines cérémonies traditionnelles au sein des chefferies des ethnies bamiléké, Fon et Bamoun de l’Ouest Cameroun. Ces coiffes de rituel symbolisent la prospérité et la richesse.
