We use a wide variety of materials to create our clothing and accessories. These include raw materials such as wax fabric (leftover pieces or full-length fabric), seed beads (from South Africa and Kenya), glass beads, metals (such as bronze and copper), horn, wood, ebony... We make sure to add a refined and elegant touch alongside the ethnic style. This blend of raw and refined materials may come as a surprise. However, we stand out thanks to our originality and cultural roots.

Our decorative items are entirely handmade. Our home linens are made from dyed cotton (using dye) or hand-painted cotton (screen printing).

Our inspiration

We draw inspiration from African traditions (queens, princesses, etc.) and cultural codes to design our jewelry and clothing, which is what makes them so original. Every object carries cultural significance. As the saying goes: “A woman without jewelry is like a meal without salt.”

We are committed to the economic empowerment of African women. To this end, we maximize our opportunities to work with women who are heads of household and/or seeking economic reintegration in their countries of origin, as well as young single mothers seeking a better life. We also make sure they receive fair incomes.

In addition, we select our artisans based on their manual and artisanal skills, as well as the materials they use to make our products. These are primarily natural, environmentally friendly materials.
